Katajaranta is a year-round rental cabin located on the shores of Lake Auhojärvi on the border between Kainu and North Ostrobothnia. The area has good fishing waters and hunting grounds. In winter, the snowmobile route starts next to the Katjanaranta rental cabin. There are several lakes and rivers in the vicinity, from which you can usually catch several types of fish, of which pike, perch and walleye are the most common. Whitefish and trout are not unknown either. The Katajaranta cottage has modern comforts and the possibility of living all year round. The drinking water, which is suitable for all kinds of washing and other similar uses, comes from the lake. Drinking water must be brought with you. When coming to the cottage, the tenant also brings toilet and paper towels, bed linen and hygiene items. Dishes and other consumables can be found in the cabin. There is firewood for sauna, rowing boat freely available.
